Fortum, the Finnish energy group, has agreed to sell its 27.6% stake in Espoon Sähkö Oyj, a Finnish power supplier, to Germany's E.on. The EUR143.5 million ($125.8 million) deal will strengthen E.on's position in Scandinavia, where it has a substantial Swedish business through its Sydkraft subsidiary. It already holds 34% of Espoon (Financial Times, 3/26).
